Reservation: Rita and Friends Grand Get Together in Marrakech
Your five nights: October 3–8, 2026
You would join Hands of Marrakech for the middle stretch of the retreat, staying in the riad in the Medina with the rest of the group. Meals begin with dinner on Saturday, October 3 and finish with breakfast on Thursday, October 8, before your transfer to the airport or next event.
One thing to plan around: the three of you are coming from different places, so your departure days won't match. From Toronto the routings run overnight through Europe, so you would leave home on Friday, October 2 and land in Marrakech on Saturday, October 3. Anyone flying from within Europe can usually get there the same day.
Your room and the rate
Junior Suite, 516 square feet.
$2,950 per person, double occupancy
$3,700, single occupancy
There are no discount codes on these rates

What it doesn't include

Tips for riad staff, meals, beverages, guides and teachers (I'll give you an easy way to take care of this)
Personal expenses and extras
Airfare
Any visa or other travel requirements from your country
Travel insurance
Proof of purchased travel insurance is required. Your payment receipt includes information and a link to make that simple, and I'm always happy to talk through what to look for.
Reserving your rooms: $1,000
I take all major credit cards, plus PayPal and Apple Pay. Your $1,000 reservation fee holds your spot and applies in full toward your retreat balance. Of that, $500 is a reservation fee that is earned upon receipt and non-refundable. The remaining $500 and the balance are subject to the Terms & Waiver Policy (click the link), and completing the purchase means you agree to those terms.
Balance due date is September 1, 2026, and you'll receive email invoices for balance payments.
After you register
A payment receipt arrives immediately, with information and a link for travel insurance.
Within 48 hours you'll get a welcome email covering passport and visa requirements, travel insurance guidance, and a form for payment plan preferences.
A retreat guide booklet comes to you before our group meeting on Sunday, September 6, 2:30–3:30 PM Eastern. Everyone who is registered is warmly encouraged to join us, and I'll record it for anyone who can't be there live.
What happens next
After you finalize your reservation fee, I will create the payment buttons for the balance. The Terms and Conditions to sign will come in a separate email, and all three of you will need to sign them. You'll also see one more email from me shortly, introducing you to Barbara, the Morocco specialist with Fleewinter.
About the extra night, since two of you mentioned wanting one: let's get the five nights settled first, then I'll work out those details with you.
Your friends are welcome to come straight to me with any question at all, however small. My email is samira@samirashuruk.com and my WhatsApp is +1 410 977 7978.
The room hold is a short window, so once the three of you decide and the reservation fees are in, I can confirm and set the reservation for you.
Warmly, Samira
YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS
Our home in Marrakech is a converted caravanserai — originally built as a riad for merchant caravans, which means the rooms are far more spacious than a typical Medina stay. The building has been lovingly transformed into a boutique hotel with just 14 rooms and suites. On-site you'll find a hammam spa, a lovely café, an indoor heated pool, and a rooftop terrace.
Every room and suite features marble and hand-crafted tile ensuite bathrooms, individually controlled heat and air conditioning, and the kind of Moroccan artistry you can feel the moment you walk in. Each room is uniquely beautiful.
Our location is in the prestigious Dar el Bacha neighborhood — one of the most storied and exclusive corners of the Marrakech Medina.
