Samira rendered party guests breathless with stunning Bollywood Mujra dance performances, and now takes your breath away with travel. Most Bollywood performances started with nostalgia and those storytelling songs that ignite beautiful memories. Here’s a video from New Year’s Eve 2022/2023. Bollywood Mujra is a highly specialized form of Bollywood dance with a basis in the oldest Indian classical dance form, Kathak. “Kathak” means “story-teller” in Sanskrit, and the Kathak dancer captures the magical rhythms with her ankle bells while expressing the story of the song with her gestures, movements, and her face. The beautiful traditions of Kathak dance were developed primarily in Jaipur, Lucknow and Banaras in Northern India. See Reviews and testimonials below.
Samira performed belly dance and Bollywood dance in Virginia, Washington, DC & Maryland for over two and a half decades, and loved to help you make your most precious events that much more magical. She has been a featured performer at large New York City venues, has had her own show on Persian cable TV, has performed at numerous embassies and Washington, DC museums, and all of the major hotels in the DMV (Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, The Willard, The Mayflower, The Watergate, Salamander, Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, etc), has been hired to perform at events across the US. She’s been featured in SuperStars of Sword twice, has headlined at most (and organized some of) the largest and longest running Arab clubs and Middle Eastern venues in the DMV.
Museum venues where Samira has performed include The National Building Museum, National Museum of Women in the Arts, The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, American Visionary Art Museum, The Walters Art Museum, DAR Constitution Hall, The Peabody Library, and many more.
