Mango Creek Resort Wellness
Roatan, Bay Islands
Mango Creek Resort sits on Roatan's quiet East End in the Bay Islands, with overwater bungalows, world-class diving and snorkeling, saltwater fly fishing, and the kind of stillness that makes you forget what day it is.
As Mango Creek's resident Wellness Specialist, I design movement and mindfulness programming for guests who want to add another layer to their stay. Morning sessions to start the day strong. Evening practices to wind down completely. And everything shaped around what your group actually came here to do.
Choose Your Experience
4-day and 7-day options available for all three.
Everything is customizable via our pre-trip planning
Wellness Escape
Rest, reset, or get after it. Your call.
Morning and evening sessions shaped around your goals. Some groups want yoga, stretching, and gentle mobility work. Others want functional fitness, Pilates, and resistance training. Many want a mix. We'll figure out your direction in a pre-trip call, and I'll adapt as your stay unfolds.
Afternoons typically wind down with restorative movement and meditation shortly before dinner, but nothing is rigid. The Caribbean has a way of rearranging plans, and that's part of it.
Have a big snorkel or dive day planned? We can build in activity-focused stretching and recovery.
Celebration
Milestone birthdays, reunions, pre-wedding adventures, girls' trips
Movement and mindfulness programming framed around your group's celebration, twice a day similar to the Wellness Escape. Sessions become shared experiences rather than workouts. Expect laughter.
Depending on the group and the weather, I may surprise you with a Caribbean snorkeling lesson or a belly dance experience on the deck. Everyone participates at their own level; everyone feels included.
You walk away with stories that don't start with "and then we went to the spa."
Corporate & Leadership
Performance, resilience, team connection
Morning movement sessions plus behavioral change and habit science workshops in place of the late afternoon restorative sessions. I bring presentation materials, partner exercises, journaling prompts, and facilitated sessions on stress resilience, nervous system regulation, and building sustainable habits your team can take back to the office. You're still in paradise. There's plenty of time to enjoy it.
Pre-trip prep is more involved because I need to understand your team's dynamics and objectives. Post-trip, I follow up at 14, 30, and 60 days to reinforce the learning and keep momentum going.
What a Day Looks Like
Most groups settle into a rhythm like this:
Morning session (45–75 min) — Movement to start the day. Could be Pilates on the yoga deck overlooking the water, functional training, a mobility flow, or yoga. Depends on what we've planned and how everyone's feeling.
Your day — Snorkel the reef right off the dock. Try your hand at saltwater fly fishing. Dive with Mango Creek's fantastic scuba team. Kayak to Calf and Cow. Or do absolutely nothing from a hammock over the water. The East End rewards both adventure and stillness.
Evening session before dinner (45–60 min) — Slower. Restorative stretching, gentle somatic work, breathwork, meditation. The kind of thing that makes you sleep like you haven't slept in years.
Everything is customizable. In our pre-trip call, we'll figure out whether your group leans more invigorating or more restorative, more structured or more flexible, and I'll build your programming from there.

About Your Wellness Specialist
Forty years teaching movement. Twenty-five years as a professional cultural dance artist. Certified in Pilates, yoga, behavioral change, somatic movement, sports conditioning, and more credentials than fit comfortably in a sentence. I've taught everyone from professional athletes to students in their mid-80s, and I've been leading international wellness retreats since 2017.
Mango Creek is where I held my own Joyful Shift retreat in January 2026, and I'm thrilled to be their resident Wellness Specialist. I know the property, I know the water, and I know exactly how good it feels to practice on that yoga deck at sunrise.

FAQs
-
None. Forty years of teaching means every session includes modifications so everyone feels challenged but never overwhelmed or left behind. I've worked with professional athletes and people in their mid-80s in the same session. You'll be well cared for.
-
Absolutely. I work with injuries and limitations daily in my regular practice — sciatica, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain, pregnancy, and more. We'll discuss any considerations in our pre-trip call so I can plan accordingly.
-
This is what I do best. Everyone gets what they need with lots of positivity.
-
I'll let you know in our pre-trip prep if there's anything specific to bring. Comfortable clothes you can move in are the main thing. Everything else, we'll sort out.
-
We move to the Mango Manor living room space. It's comfortable, covered, and works beautifully for sessions. The Caribbean weather is part of the adventure.
-
Of course. Programming adapts daily based on how the group is feeling, what activities you've planned, and what the weather is doing. Flexibility is built in.
-
Lodging, meals, and resort activities are booked directly through Mango Creek Resort at mangocreekresort.com. My wellness programming is a separate add-on.

The reservation fee ($500, or $800 for corporate) is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. If you need to cancel or reschedule, let's talk — I'll always try to work with you.
