What Level is right for me?
Our classes at the Yoga Center are in levels. Level 1 in any class is introductory. If you are new, in my classes you’ll have your best experience and results if you start in Level 1, even if you are already quite fit. I only break down the basics of core understanding, breathing, stability, etc. in Level 1. You can also watch the free video in the link above. This knowledge helps you exercise without injury, and get the best and most efficient results.

What do you need for Pilates 1-2 with Weights, Pilates 2 with Weights, or Pilates 2-3 with Weights class?
These classes are not for beginners and you need Pilates experience with an instructor that gives you feedback. They are a faster pace, do not include move breakdowns, and you must know compression breathing and stabilization techniques. If you are a beginner in Pilates and you try this level, please know this is not the best experience for you.
At home: You need a mat, a yoga strap (or a belt or something similar) and a blanket. You also need ankle weights (soft/padded are better), hand weights, 12’ loop bands, long bands (like therabands used in physical therapy) and a 9-9.5” Pilates or Yoga ball (squishy). We do not use all the resistance props in each class. Your email before each class will let you know what to have for class that day
In-studio: We have everything you need, or you may bring your own.

New to Live-stream classes?
